Whitepod is not just another hotel. With eleven pods, this hi-tech eco camp can host
a maximum of twenty guests over 1500m high in the Swiss Alps. It is unique and
ecological and access is limited. There are no busy streets, no hotels; nothing at all
apart from the majesty of the Alps and the breathtaking beauty of the scenery.
Whitepod is inspired by a desire to create a haven of beauty and tranquillity for
those seeking to restore tired bodies and jaded spirits. Guests can look forward to
traditional food prepared by the resident chef... numerous activities with experienced
guides... a deep tissue massage in the Spa... and a peaceful night's sleep in their
very own white pod. Above all, they can look forward to being immersed in the
silence of unspoilt nature - utterly still, unbelievably beautiful.
Each pod serves as a bedroom. Heated by a wood burning stove and insulated with
the latest technology, they are wonderfully warm day and night. Large windows
facing the bed offer breathtaking views to wake up to. Soft lighting by petrol lamps
and organic bedding and throws all enhance the sense of physical and spiritual wellbeing
that Whitepod seeks to nurture. Each pod has a private front terrace offering
uninterrupted views of the Alps. At Whitepod, each morning starts softly with a
choice of tea or coffee served in your pod, followed by a full breakfast served in the
Alpine chalet. After breakfast, you may enjoy a little adventure with one of the
activities, opt for a massage at the spa or simply bask in the beauty of the
surroundings. The choices are endless and the camp manager is on hand to help you
organise each day as you please. At the end of your day, your pod awaits at the end
of a path carved in the fresh snow and lit by petrol lamps. Inside, you'll find your
wood burning stove quietly glowing.
